Startup Visa as a Pathway to Immigration
Citizenship and Immigration Canada recently launched the Startup Visa as a pathway for immigrant entrepreneurs to startup their innovative businesses in Canada. The visa is intended to grant permanent residency to entrepreneurs provided that a designated organization (venture capital fund or angel investor group or business incubator) invests or accepts the business, providing guidance, support and funding. If an organization chooses to support a business idea, they will provide the applicant with a Letter of Support.
What’s the catch?
